About Daily Slice

Have fun. Learn something. One scan at a time.

Daily Slice is a daily radiology puzzle game made by medical students who love imaging. Each day brings a new case: a real scan, a bit of clinical context, and a diagnosis to crack. We research every case, write the teaching points, and curate each scan ourselves. That said, we're students, not attending radiologists.

Whether you're a student, working in healthcare, or just curious about radiology, the goal is simple: have fun, test yourself, and maybe pick up something new along the way.

Disclaimer

Daily Slice is an educational game created by medical students for learning and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes clinical advice, diagnostic guidance, or a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for clinical decisions. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but cases are simplified for gameplay and should not be used for patient care.

How to Play

01Read the clinical context and study the scan.
02Spot the finding — follow the prompt and tap where you think it is on the image. Drag through slices if it's a stack. Bullseye is worth +400, close +200, area +75.
03Guess the diagnosis. Start typing in the search box and pick a diagnosis from the dropdown — you have to select an entry, plain typing won't submit. You get three guesses.
04Nail it on the first try and the diagnosis is worth its full 600 points. Each wrong guess unlocks a hint and shrinks the bonus you can still earn (400 after one hint, 300 after two). Three wrong and the case is lost, but you can still review the findings, teaching points, differentials, and the clinical pearl.
